Girls in Afghanistan savagely whipped, flogged for not subjecting to pedophilia and forced marriages

Why is a single US soldier or dollar taken from US working families going to prop up an entrenched sadistic culture that couldn't change for hundreds of years even if it wanted to, which it does not? ed.
