GOP and media chat while Obama executive needle injects potentially fatal diseases into bodies of innocent American children and families. Homeless non-citizens must first be quarantined to protect Americans from disease. 300,000 Americans now infected with potentially fatal Chagas-American Thinker, Brown

.
11/10/14, "Heads up to Obama, the GOP, and the media: You've got it all wrong!" American Thinker, Carol Brown

"Obama is dangerously wrong in his quest to impose amnesty. Equally as serious, many elected officials and pundits are wrong on why he is wrong.

As to Obama’s determination to use executive order to impose amnesty, Yahoo News reports:
Obama told congressional leaders on Friday he would try to ease some restrictions on undocumented immigrants, despite warnings from Republican leaders that such actions would "poison the well" or would be "a red flag in front of a bull."
Why should any restrictions be eased for people who have broken the law? It makes no sense. It is illogical, irrational, and unlawful.

And what Obama is threatening to do is not about poisoning wells or waving red flags in front of bulls. Would that folks would stop using these metaphors and just speak plainly. What Obama is threatening to do is another drastic action that shreds our Constitution, does an end run around Congress, silences the will of the people, breaks the law, and further weakens America....

“Everybody agrees” is one of those false statements the left loves the use. It bolsters their point by creating a feeling there is massive (it doesn’t get much bigger than “everybody”) support for their position. There’s just one problem.

The statement is a lie. Yet few question it. Coupled with that lie is a statement that goes hand-in-hand with “everyone agrees,” which is: “we’ve been talking about it for years.” Who’s “we?” The left? Is that the “everyone” they’re referring to? This manner of speech is like a cheap marketing ploy for a product targeting a demographic of adolescents.
"We don't have the capacity to deport 11 million people -- everybody agrees on that," he said.
Once again, “everybody.” Hey, I have an idea. How about we start by deporting those we identify as living here illegally and just keep chipping away at the problem instead of “easing restrictions?” And while we’re at it, we can do something really drastic, shocking, unusual, outrageous, unthinkable, unique, and trend-setting like securing our border.
Without any changes, the government will continue to misallocate resources, deport people who should not be deported and not deport those who are dangerous, he said.
Unless we’ve been deporting American citizens by mistake (and I haven’t heard of a single case), then there is no one who is being deported who should not be deported. Yet the president makes statements such as the one noted above with a tone that sounds serious and as if based on sound reasoning, when in truth he is speaking gibberish. But the media, and many elected officials, let such statements go unchallenged.
Any unilateral action promises to draw the ire of Republicans in Congress. U.S. Senator John Barrasso, the No. 4 Republican in the Senate, told Reuters on Friday members of Congress had told Obama that would be a "toxic decision".
"It will hurt cooperation on every issue," Barrasso told "Fox News Sunday".
"What the president does over the next two months is going to set the tone for the next two years."
This isn’t about drawing “ire,” and if it were, it should draw the ire of everyone – Republicans and Democrats alike, because the president is single-handedly trampling on the Constitution. And that should not be a partisan concern.

And here’s one among many examples of the media thinking they’ve nailed it while missing the boat entirely.

Recently on Face the Nation, David Gergen described the president as prepared to “pick up his game,” noting that Obama is “20 points back while acting like he’s ahead.” Gergen thinks the president’s determination to enact amnesty with or without Republican support is “going to throw a hand grenade into the middle of these conversations.” Bob Woodward chimed in and described Obama as having a “disengaged style” with Congress.

Here again, we see people with access to the bullhorn throwing out understatements and analogies instead of speaking the plain truth.

This is not about Obama picking up his game or how his actions might impact conversations with Republicans. Nor is it about him being disengaged. (And by the way, Mr. Woodward, that observation was made a long time ago. How about breaking actual news?) Discussing Obama in these ways does the public an enormous disservice and

allows the president to continue to get away with a dictatorial style of leadership.

The president is transforming this country (there’s one promise he kept) into a banana republic and the language used to describe his actions focuses on feelings, irrelevant analogies, and obscure images. Too little. Too late. Weak and inadequate.

And speaking of inadequate and that which needs to be said but is not said, I’d like to touch upon the topic of illegal invaders and deadly diseases.

Thomas Sowell wrote this past summer:
Amid all the things being said on all sides about the massive, illegal influx of children from countries in Central America, we have yet to hear some American parent saying, "I don't owe it to anybody to have my child exposed to diseases brought into this country, no matter what problems exist in other countries!"
Thank you, Dr. Sowell.

Indeed, why aren’t more people standing up for themselves and their children to protect against diseases we are importing from Central America thanks to our unprotected border? (See here, herehere, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.) And I’m not just talking about chicken pox, antibiotic resistant tuberculosis, dengue fever, enterovirus 68 (though all that would be bad enough), but also Chagas disease. The Daily Mail reports:
Over 300,000 Americans have already been infected with the potentially fatal 'kissing bug disease' called Chagas but U.S. healthcare workers lack of knowledge about the illness is letting many cases of the parasite unnoticed. Some doctors are calling it the 'new AIDS' because of the way it develops. (snip)
The CDC has said that they believe most of the people infected with Chagas got the parasite in Mexico or South America before coming to the U.S. (snip)
'The disease can be fatal if not treated,' said Melissa Nolan Garcia, a research associate at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and co-author of a separate study on Chagas disease in Texas published in the American Journal of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene on Tuesday.
'You are normally asymptomatic until disease has progressed at which time treatment is not helpful. We call this the silent disease,' Garcia said.
'The concerning thing is that majority of the patients [I spoke to] are going to physicians, and the physicians are telling them, ‘No you don’t have the disease,’ she said.
Just as Obama has no interest in keeping people from Ebola hot spots out of America, he has no interest in protecting Americans from diseases brought here from Central America. Worse, he wants to invite people from that region to the United States and reward them for coming illegally. That should make any thinking person wonder just what his agenda is.

And so Obama continues down the path of ruin at break neck speed, destroying the country on numerous fronts – from rendering the Constitution moot to putting American’s lives in danger. And he continues to get away with it.

Again, as the brilliant Thomas Sowell writes:

Despite TV pundits who say that public opinion polls show Barack Obama is in trouble, the president is not in the slightest trouble. He is doing whatever he feels like doing, regardless of the Constitution and regardless of how many people don't like it, because he is virtually impeachment-proof. The country is in huge trouble and real danger because of his policies, but he is not.
I’m sorry to end on such a bleak note, but Dr. Sowell is correct. We are in enormous danger."
