Obama flip flops on vote rigging: In 2008 candidate Obama warned Ohio voters about possible vote fraud by Republicans, but said in Ohio 'it helps' that Democrats are in charge of machines. Says both parties have done vote fraud and Justice Dept. should have separate unit devoted to it-MRC TV, 10/21/16

.
In 2008 at Kent State University in Ohio, candidate Obama warned of voter fraud. But said "it helps" that Democrats control the machines in Ohio. Said US really needs paper trail to back up electronic machines to make sure they haven't been hacked into. (As of 2015, John Kerry still thinks the 2004 election was rigged by the Bush campaign).

10/21/16, "Obama Warned of Rigged Elections Back in 2008," mrctv, Daniel Pickert

"At a campaign rally for Hillary Clinton on Thursday in Miami Gardens, Fla., President Obama condemned Donald Trump’s “rigged election” claims, describing these remarks as “dangerous.”"...

[In 2008, candidate Obama also warned that General Elections get "ugly" and people will try to say he (Obama) is "scary." (Or “dangerous,” as Obama now labels Trump in an attempt to influence an election.): 6/13/2008, "He (Obama) warned [at 6/13 fundraiser] that the general election campaign could get ugly

They’re going to try to scare people. They’re going to try to say that ‘that Obama is a scary guy,’
he said.

A donor yelled out a deep accented “Don’t give in!”

“I won’t but that sounded pretty scary. You’re a tough guy,” Obama said.

].

(continuing): "“When you try to sow the seeds of doubt in people’s minds about the legitimacy of our election, that undermines our democracy,” he said.

“When you suggest rigging or fraud without a shred of evidence, [Obama, your 2008 statements, following, are "evidence"] when last night at the debate, Trump becomes the first major party nominee in American history to suggest that he will not concede despite losing…that is not a joking matter,” Obama added. Trump said at the third presidential debate that he would keep the United States “in suspense” as to whether he would accept the election results. Later, at a campaign rally, he promised in a jesting manner that he would accept the results “if I win” as the crowd roared.

But despite condemning Trump for suggesting an election can be rigged, here is a clip of then-candidate Barack Obama in 2008 warning about voter fraud and suggesting Republicans could try to sway the election in their favor.

Well, I tell you what it helps in Ohio, that we got Democrats in charge of the machines, Obama said regarding the threat of election-rigging.

He continued, “Whenever people are in power, they have this tendency to try to tilt things in their direction. That’s why we’ve got to have, I believe, a voting rights division in the Justice Department
that is nonpartisan, and that is serious about investigating cases of voter fraud.”

That’s why we need paper trails on these new electronic machines so that you actually have something that you can hang on to after you’ve punched that letter—make sure it hasn’t been hacked into,” he added, admitting that even Democrats have "monkeyed around" with election results:

"I want to be honest, it’s not as if it’s just Republicans who have monkeyed around with elections in the past. Sometimes, Democrats have, too."" (video at link)

Added: The same people who thought it fine to consider overthrowing the Establishment of Nixon and Agnew have changed their tune in 2016. Now that they're the Establishment they're shocked, shocked, that any American would question their authority-Buchanan

10/21/16, "An establishment in panic," Pat Buchanan, World Net Daily

"Ruling class fears the people won't accept its political legitimacy."

"Some of us recall another time, when Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas wrote in “Points of Rebellion”:

We must realize that today’s Establishment is the new George III.

Whether it will continue to adhere to his tactics, we do not know. If it does, the redress, honored in tradition, is also revolution.”

What goes around comes around."

In America,  politicians are servants, not rulers. Everyone knows no computer system is safe. In any case, before government control of mass media, it used to be patriotic and the highest form of democracy to question a bloated, self satisfied federal government that has gotten everything wrong for many decades. Based on Obama's 2008 statements alone, who in their right mind would accept initial US election results?
